Benjamin Forza and Yosef Hadad, respectively of Roman and Milanese origins, are two young Yeshiva students who came to spend a few weeks from their Yeshiva brake in Rome to visit the local Jews, encourage them to do a Mitzvah or to learn with them.

On their schedule during the visit, which is part of the worldwide Merkos Shlichus program, they also spent Shabbat with the local Jewish community at the seaside locations, put Tefillin on almost 100 people including three people who never put on Tefillin in their life, put up 16 Mezuzot, sold letters in the Sefer Torah, etc…

Their travel expenses to come to Rome were sponsored by the central Chabad Headquarters offices of “Merkos Linyonei Chinuch” and their day to day expenses were paid by donations of local Jews to Chabad Piazza Bologna and Chabad Lubavitch Rome.
