After a few years that Chabad arranged groups to enable the restaurants to open, this year three restaurants took the bid to remain open each Shabbat of the summer, business was booming for all.
Chabad was instrumental to help in various special cases, one example was of a family who emailed on friday that they will be spending Shabbat in Brindisi, Rabbi Lazar connected them with the local Pagliara family who hosted graciously on a last minute notice.
