In honor of Purim, the Chabad center in Piazza Bologna organized a party dedicated to young people. The evening was enlivened by a stand-up show by Itai Keren and a buffet featuring Middle Eastern delicacies, including hummus with meat or mushrooms and pita bread.

In the afternoon, Purim was celebrated at the Shuk, with stalls offering a variety of foods, including pita and shwarma or pita and falafel, as well as burekas, sweets, candies, halva, and fresh juices. There was even a space dedicated to the practice of Mitzvot, where about 10 people had the opportunity to wear Tefillin. For the younger ones, a magician from “The Colorful Balloon” entertained them with many acts, concluding with the man in the balloon.

During the Purim celebration, five readings of the Megillah of Esther were conducted, involving a total of 150 people. Additionally, 150 mishlochei manot (food gift baskets) were distributed, and 1380 euros were collected in donations for matanot laevionim (helping the poor).
