For the second year, Chanukià illuminated the Colosseum, this year even more closer, next to the Arch of Constantine, not far from the Arch of Titus.
As in the first year, an ice Chanukià was lit again this year in the presence of the vice-president of the 1st Municipality of Rome, Alessandra Sermoneta and the President of the Jewish Community, Ruth Dureghello, who brought greetings from their respective institutions and also lit a candle.
The blessings were intoned by Maurizio Di Veroli, the other candles were lit by Marco Misano and Alessandro Rossi Fanelli in memory of Yosef Yitzchak (Giorgio) Lazar z”l.
The event was made possible thanks to the 1st Municipality of Rome and the Colosseum Park, safety was guaranteed thanks to the Rome Police Headquarters and the Trevi and Villa Gloria police stations.
