Soccer is a strong attraction for the local youth, after playing for a few years in a rented field, Rabbi Lazar got approval from Scelomi Sufir to grant use of a field in his possession for the weekly soccer game. Chabad placed two soccer fields and a volleyball field, the field was dedicated in the memory of Scelomi’s father David.
Camp David became a place where not just children but also adults play and relax on sunday. Rabbi Lazar recounts a story, the children wear a Kippah, they say a blessing on the refreshments.
