Since January the new Chabad House is bursting with activities. With the summer and the High Holidays quickly approaching we must add a few important things: the air conditioning system, curtains, the completion of the commercial kitchen and a grand Sukkah.
We need your help in order to continue our activities during the summer months, High Holidays and Sukkot.
Please participate in the last stretch to complete the Chabad House.
It is not often that one gets the chance to enrich thousands of lives with one gift. Your donation to the Chabad House of Piazza Bologna building campaign is that opportunity.
Capital Campaign – Campaign Objective: 80.000 euro
Chabad Piazza Bologna’s religious, educational and social activities led by Rabbi and Mrs. Lazar, have provided hundreds of young students with a place they can call home and a vibrant, inclusive community in which they are unequivocally accepted and embraced.
Hundreds of locals and visitors have gained from learning, religious and social activities.
In an age when assimilation and apathy are rampant we dare not stand by as students are turned away as they “check out the scene” at Chabad on Friday night and find it so crowded they can’t get in!
In response, Chabad built a new student and community center in the area of Piazza Bologna. This modern, spacious center will allow for thousands more of our young men and women to be inspired and infused with a love for and pride in their Jewish identity.
Please understand that Chabad Piazza Bologna is not funded by any central organization. Every penny of this capital campaign, as well as the operating budget, must be raised by Rabbi and Mrs. Lazar independently. Please consider making a substantial gift towards this building through this secure website.
Remember, this building will see hundreds of different Jewish students come through its doors each year as they begin their journey through adult life. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure a stronger Jewish tomorrow.
For decades to come, let it be engraved in stone, for a minimum donation of 5000 euro, for all to see that there were those who lived not only for today and for themselves, but when standing at the historical crossroads, took that plunge and made that sacrifice to ensure and secure a strong and bright future for the Jews in Rome.
